Vincent Federici and Gavin McKenzie
In 2005, I founded McKenzie as an independent general contractor, specializing in residential projects across South Florida. My vision was simple yet powerful: to infuse a deep passion for the science of construction, an appreciation for the art of creating quality spaces, and a commitment to innovation and sustainability throughout the building process. Now, nearly two decades later, McKenzie has taken that vision and run with it, growing into a collective of talented professionals united by shared values that truly set us apart in the industry. Our journey of growth has been an incredible blessing. From expanding into commercial construction in 2007 to launching our custom fabrication division, McKenzie Craft, we've embraced progress and innovation at every turn. Today, we step into the next exciting chapter of our story.
I am proud to announce the appointment of Vincent Federici as McKenzie’s new CEO. For the past nine years, Vincent has contributed significantly to our company’s mission as Director of McKenzie Craft, consistently showcasing his exceptional leadership and dedication to McKenzie as a whole. His integrity, vision, and commitment to excellence give me full confidence in his ability to lead us into the future. McKenzie has always thrived with a hands-on approach, taking on complex and challenging projects that others might shy away from. Under Vince’s guidance, that philosophy has only strengthened, and I’m excited to see the company continue to grow and evolve under his leadership.
As for myself, I will continue to focus on new developments, strategy, and innovation for the company, allowing me to dedicate more of my energy to advancing our mission beyond managing day-to-day operations. Throughout McKenzie's growth, I've had the privilege of working with countless talented individuals who share our core values, and I look forward to continuing that collaboration as we build on our foundation and expand our presence in the South Florida community.
Much has changed since we first opened our doors in 2005—from global challenges to evolving urban landscapes and tremendous growth, culminating in the transition to new leadership. But one thing remains constant: McKenzie’s unwavering commitment to improving people's lives through the creation of unique and beautiful products and spaces.
