The much-anticipated Brooklyn pizza mecca, Lucali, has finally opened to relieved Miamians. McKenzie Construction proudly partnered with owners Dominic Cavagnuolo and Mark Iacono to bring the slice of Brooklyn to South Beach’s blossoming Purdy Avenue neighborhood. Located on Bay Road, Lucali’s simple menu of pizza and calzones, made with only the freshest ingredients, and its cool but unassuming design offer the perfect laid-back atmosphere to enjoy the perfect pie.

The interior gives a nod to its Brooklyn roots with weathered woods, revealed wall cladding, and a custom-built oven serving as the space’s master centerpiece. A glass garage roll-up door opens up to create one continuous indoor/outdoor dining experience and an adjoining bar with vintage details was built out, allowing plenty of lounging space for diners.
